Kazakh “Barys” won Omsk “Avant-garde” during the match of the pre-season tournament in Omsk.
The match ended with the score of 4:3 (2:1, 0:1, 2:1) in favor of Barys. Among the winners, Riley Barber scored twice, Kirill Savitsky and Samat Daniyar also scored a puck. Reed Boucher, Libor Shulak and Ivan Nikolishin scored against Avangard.
On Thursday, Avangard will face Salavat Yulaev Ufa, while Barys will face Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk a day later.
The new KHL season kicks off on September 1 with the opening Cup game between CSKA and Ak Bars.
