– Your father Andrei Nikolishin played for Avangard in 2006 and won silver medals, reaching the Super League final. What did he tell you?
“His advice was, ‘It doesn’t matter which team you play for. Play your hockey game anyway, try to be the leader. “What I will do is play my hockey, trying to help the team, to make my partners better.
– And what is the best thing you took from your father? What connects you?

– Are you trying to adopt Nikolishin’s trait: don’t give in to anyone?
– Certainly. This is his plus as a hockey player: to play until the end, to burn with the desire to win. It’s expensive.
How did your father support you in the negotiations?
“The whole family has been very supportive of me. I saw how hard it was for me. And you don’t even know how it is. Everything seemed to be going well and the career should have gone on like this. But there was a turning point… Psychologically, it was very difficult. My wife, parents, brother and sister supported me a lot, for which I thank them very much, ”reports the correspondent of , reporting the words of Nikolishin.
