Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA ) and the commission of inquiry are conducting an official investigation into information concerning the discovery of doping in the blood of players of the club of the Youth Hockey League (MHL) “Tolpar” told “” the general director of Ufa “Salavat Yulaev” Rinat Bashirov.
Earlier, on the Baza Telegram channel, information appeared that seven Tolpar players, who are part of the Salavat structure, accused physical trainer Igor Zagretdinov of forcing them to dope. It is noteworthy that Zagretdinov had a conflict with team doctor Artem Taran due to the fact that the coach allegedly gave the athletes a large amount of supplements and medications. In April, RUSADA announced that it was investigating seven positive doping tests among Tolpar players.

– No. If they had a conflict, one of them would definitely not work at the club. There are employment issues, yes. Somewhere they are arguing. Yet sporting achievements and goals are a complex mechanism. People rub against each other. Taran is not a sports doctor. He’s only in his second year of work, he’s still gaining experience, he doesn’t know everything. But there were certainly no disputes on the grounds that someone was doping, and Taran was against it,” Bashirov told .
