Hockey club forward CSKA Mikhail Grigorenko on “” explained why the Army goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov didn’t need support ahead of their first tournament match since April 2022.

The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) suspended Fedotov from September 1 until the end of 2023 for signing a deal with CSKA while he was under a valid contract with Philadelphia. The new KHL season will kick off on September 1 with the Cup opener between CSKA and Ak Bars.
