The head coach S.K.A. Romain Rotenberg said after the game against Severstal that the club tries to organize its work in such a way that teams of the SKA system of all ages win and that there is a culture of winners in the club.
On Saturday, SKA defeated Severstal (4:2) at the Nikolai Puchkov tournament in St. Petersburg. Rotenberg’s team became the winner of the tournament.
“It was a difficult game for us. We understood that the opponent would be fresh. They play modern hockey, they created a lot of difficulties for us. In such situations, character is shown.
The tournament was held at a high level. The supporters came to support us, we had to win at all costs.
We took the team to the top from the start of the regular season. We did a lot of work in pre-season. We trained in two groups, brought the team to a common denominator. Many players are not ready for various reasons, but hopefully we will see the optimal line-up very soon.
We strive to build our work in such a way that all our teams win, in order to form a culture of the winner from an early age, ”reports the correspondent in Rotenberg’s words.
The Puchkov Tournament was held in St. Petersburg from August 21 to 26.
