Last season, Vityaz collaborated with two hockey schools – Vityaz and Balashikha.
– We wanted to continue cooperation with the Podolsk hockey school. An agreement was signed on our part, but the school in Podolsk refused to cooperate. From this season, Vityaz will cooperate only with the Balashikha hockey school, ”reports correspondent Varitsky.
Vityaz finished last season in sixth place in the Western Conference following regular season results. In the first round of the playoffs, the team lost to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in five matches.
The new KHL season will kick off on September 1 with the Cup opener between CSKA and Ak Bars. Vityaz will start the season on September 2 with a home game against Amour.
