The head coach CSKA Sergei Fedorov declined to comment on the situation with the team’s goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov .
Earlier, reported that FHR approved the application of CSKA for the goalkeeper, however, the hockey player will not be able to play for the army due to the disqualification of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF ), valid until January 1, 2024. Restrictions were imposed on Fedotov due to the goalkeeper’s contract history. He signed a two-year contract with CSKA Moscow and a one-year contract with Philadelphia. Fedotov will be able to play for the army only after the expiry of the disqualification or the decision of the disciplinary commission to remove the sanction.
– Where will Fedotov get fit if he is not cleared for the season?
– If so, if only. This is beyond my responsibility. I fully understand the question, but I have different information.
The FHR released a statement that he will only be able to play from January 1. Did you know ?
– Is this statement on the official FHR website? If so, I should know. He is not. I cannot comment on this situation, ”the correspondent reports about Fedorov’s remarks.
On Sunday, the military club lost to Spartak in the last pre-season match of the Moscow Mayor’s Cup (1:3).
