Goalie “Kunlun” Jeremy Smith spoke to about his plans following the team’s move to China.
Earlier, the Kunlun Red Star announced that they will continue to play in Mytishchi near Moscow in the new KHL season. The club’s vice-president Nikolai Feoktistov has announced the team’s possible move to China for the 2024/25 season.
– If Kunlun plays in China next season, the first thing I will do is see my friends and teammates. Let’s have a big round table with Chinese food and enjoy the evening together,” Smith told a correspondent.
Smith also played last season with Kunlun, helping the team to 10 wins in 36 games.
The new KHL season will kick off on September 1 with the Cup opener between CSKA and Ak Bars.
