Metallurgy Head Coach Andrei Razin announced the name of the captain and four assistants for the upcoming season, reports the club’s press service.
The defender remains captain of the team Egor Yakovlev . The assistants will be Maxim Karpov, Robin Press, Alexei Maklyukov and Grigory Dronov.
“Metallurgist” in April, he announced the appointment of Razin to the post of head coach of the team, last season this position was occupied by Ilya Vorobyov.
Yakovlev played in 68 regular season games last season, scoring 31 points (8+23).
The Magnitogorsk club will start the new KHL season on September 2 with an away game against Avtomobilist.
