General manager “Toronto Brad Treliving has announced that the club have signed a long-term contract with the head coach Sheldon Keefe according to the press service of the NHL club.
Keefe, 42, took over as head coach of the Maple Leafs on November 20, 2019.
In four seasons with the club (267 regular season games), Keefe led the team to 166 wins, 71 losses and 30 overtime or shootout losses. He is the sixth most earning coach in the franchise’s 105-year history.
Under Keefe, Toronto set franchise records for most wins (54) and points (115) in a single season (2021-22).
