Olympic hockey champion Pavel Datsyuk admitted that he was happy for Yekaterinburg, where sports infrastructure is being developed, but noted that it is important to use it actively.
On Wednesday, Datsyuk attended the rhythmic gymnastics competition at the Yekaterinburg International University Sports Festival. He watched the competition and participated in the athlete awards ceremony.
“I visited this facility for the first time today, I was pleasantly surprised. Happy for our city. We are preparing a new arena and I think the main thing is to fill them so that more athletes and tourists come to our city.
– Who do you consider to be the big favorite in the KHL?
“All the teams,” Datsyuk told .
The new KHL season will kick off on September 1 with the Cup opener between CSKA and Ak Bars.
