Olympic hockey champion Pavel Datsiu I attended rhythmic gymnastics competitions at the International University Sports Festival, which takes place in Yekaterinburg.
Datsyuk watched the competition and took part in the athlete awards ceremony.
“Maybe my daughters will become gymnasts and reach that level as well,” he told .
So they don’t play hockey?
– Not yet. During gymnastics. A beautiful, hard sport, I know how to train for it. The eldest daughter did a little. A lot of training, the sport is hard.
– Do you think that in Yekaterinburg it is known that such a festival takes place?
– They kinda know. But it is in these terms that we celebrate the 300th anniversary of Yekaterinburg, and it turned out on a larger scale. However, I am happy that we are organizing such a festival, I hope that we will organize other events, attract more athletes and tourists to Yekaterinburg, whom we will meet with pleasure,” Datsyuk told .
