The 28-year-old hockey player has signed a unilateral contract for one season.
Bowie won the Stanley Cup in 2018 with the Washington Capitals. During this season, he played 51 regular season games and scored 12 points (0 goals + 12 assists) with an utility indicator of -3.
The Canadian has previously played in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks. In total, the hockey player played 158 games in the NHL, scoring 40 (5 + 35) points. Bowie won the 2013 World Junior Championships and the 2015 World Junior Championships with Team Canada.
The new KHL season will kick off on September 1 with the Cup opener between CSKA and Ak Bars.
