Forward “Love” Alexander Khokhlachev told how it relates to talking about his contract in the Khabarovsk club.
On August 29, following an exchange with Spartak, striker Hokhlachev joined “Love” , and the capital club received youth team striker Artem Gumenyuk and monetary compensation. Khokhlachev still had a year of contract with “Spartacus” . After the transition, Spartak board chairman Alexander Yakushev said Khokhlachev made unacceptable financial demands.
– After the conclusion of such a contract, they will expect miracles from me in every game, and if all of a sudden, then we will talk about money? I immediately understood all this. In principle, miracles were expected from me and Spartak in every game. As for talking about money, these are completely understandable things. You just have to go out and do your job. So everything will be fine.
Amour provided me with all the conditions, and now everything will depend on how I play myself. And I’m serious. I went through pre-season training with Spartak, where we trained well, and I’m ready for the season. From the first match against Vityaz, I will try to do everything that depends on me: to score, to give, to score points.
Also, in no case will I forget the defense. I have already spoken to the head coach. Of course, like any coach, he has his own requirements. It’s good. In every game I will fight and try, – said Khokhlachev “Championship”.
Khokhlachev, 29, scored 55 (19+36) points in 65 games last season. Earlier in the KHL, he played for SKA and Avangard. In total in the KHL, he has 260 (104+156) points in 383 regular season games. Khokhlachev is a two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup.
Amur will kick off the new KHL season on September 2 with an away encounter with Vityaz starting at 5:00 p.m. (Moscow time). Watch live broadcasts of the Fonbet KHL Championship matches on the Match holding channels.
