Athletistic/ Hockey. Friday, September 1 kicked off the new Kontinental Hockey League season. As always, it started with the KHL Opening Cup. It converged CSKA and “Ak Bars”. That is, the teams that won the Gagarin Cup and the regular season respectively last season.
At the end of the first period, “Ak Bars” took the lead. Dmitry Kagarlitsky scored the first goal of the season. Lyamkin from his area made a long forward pass. Yashkin gave the pass to Kagarlitsky, who rolled towards the goal and threw it under the crossbar.
At the start of the second period, the score became tied thanks to the puck from Nikita Nesterov. CSKA settled in the area. Okulov passed to Nesterov, who sent the puck into the top corner with a hard shot.

Then immediately Vadim Shipachev took the score to a high level. Lyamkin received a pass on the blue line and threw it low, the puck bounced off Shipachev from a sharp angle, hitting Fedotov’s gate at a sharp angle.
