On Sunday, the Nizhny Novgorod team won on the road with the score 5:2 (2:0, 0:1, 3:1).
Aleksey Kruchinin scored twice with Torpedo (7th and 59th minutes). Nikolay Kovalenko (5th), Sergey Goncharuk (46th) and Vasily Atanasov (51st) each scored a goal.
The Yaroslavl team scored Rushan Rafikov (34th) and Denis Alekseev (50th).
Both teams have played their first games of the current season in the KHL.
