CEO Moscow “Dynamo” Sergey Sushko explained his thoughts on the fact that there had been a large number of predecessors in this position before him in a short time.
Sushko took charge of the hockey club in June. For the past two seasons, he has led Dynamo Minsk and chaired the board of directors of clubs participating in the Ice Hockey Federation of Belarus.
— Have I been bothered by the high staff turnover in my position at Dynamo lately? To be afraid of wolves, do not go to the forest. I’m no longer a boy either, and I weighed many factors when making this decision. In fact, I was scared by this information before coming to Moscow. They didn’t even scare me, but tried to present exactly what you ask for. And about the change of directors, and about the complex management structure. I won’t say it bothered me.
As I said, I was really flattered by the offer that came to me. I can say that I was very happy with the opportunity to work at Dynamo. When you are already involved in a fight, you don’t need to be afraid of anything. So that’s it, you just have to work calmly. The most important thing is to get involved in this battle, and then it will show. For my part, I will just try not to give shareholders a reason to think about a replacement,” Sushko told the Championship.
