The photo was posted on the 27-year-old hockey player’s social network. The post’s caption reads, “Champion!” At the same time, Nichushkin raised his right fist. The belt itself resembles a championship boxing belt. Nichushkin covered the delicate parts of the body with a cape.
Colorado won the Stanley Cup Finals against Tampa, 4-2 on aggregate, to claim the trophy. For Nichushkin, this is the first such trophy.
The Colorado club won the Stanley Cup for the third time in history.
