Moscow “Dynamo” surpassed “Sochi” in the Fonbet Continental Hockey League championship game.
The capital club won on their home ice on Saturday with a score of 4:0 (0:0, 2:0, 2:0). Nikita Gusev (27th minute), Jordan Weal (35th), Eric O’Dell (41st) and Maxim Dzhioshvili (51st) scored.
O’Dell scored the fastest goal since the start of the third period in KHL history, scoring already in the fifth second of the period. The previous record (40:06) belonged to Alexey Makeev (Avtomobilist – Ak Bars, 01/21/2018) and Teem Hartikainen (Salavat Yulaev – Metallurg, 10/30/2020).
Dynamo achieved their second victory of the season after four matches played, while Sochi lost three of the four matches.
