Canadian hockey player “Sibir” Trevor Murphy will be out for at least a month and a half due to an upper body injury, according to the Novosibirsk club’s website.
The defender was injured in a collision with a player of the Yekaterinburg Avtomobilist during Saturday’s Fonbet KHL championship match (1:6). As reported, Murphy, 28, will be out for six to eight weeks.
Murphy played in four KHL games this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
“Sibir” will host “Amur” Khabarovsk in the next regular season match on September 13. Watch the live broadcast of the match from 3:20 p.m. on the KHL PRIME channel.
