Athletistic/Hockey. SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg announced the return of striker Matvey Michkov to Sochi on loan. Michkov, 18, was loaned by the St. Petersburg club at the end of December. In 27 KHL regular season matches, he scored 20 points (9+11). In the current 2023/24 season, the 18-year-old hockey player has played only one game for SKA in the KHL regular season.

“Matvey Michkov will continue the season in Sochi on loan. I think this is the right decision. Matvey has his whole career ahead of him, now it is important for him to play a lot with experienced players, to gain experience . He will have this opportunity in Sochi. We discussed it with Matvey and came to a general agreement that this is the best option for his development. Michkov is one of the top players and we do not want him to he remains idly in the reserve. We wish him maximum progress and will closely follow his performances. How As soon as the right moment appears, we will be happy to see him in St. Petersburg. See you soon on the ice! ” – wrote Rotenberg on his Telegram channel.
