“Everyone who comes here will have a great time.” Everything is modern, spacious, the locker room is next to the ice. I think SKA and the Russian national team will definitely be very comfortable here. In Russia, hockey is the number one sport, it is loved and adored. God grant that young people, coming to such stadiums and cheering for their favorite teams, develop, imitate and want to get on the ice as soon as possible,” Kovalchuk told .
Today, SKA St. Petersburg hosts their KHL championship rivals at the Ice Palace. The new arena is expected to be fully operational in 2023.
