Athletistic/Hockey. Czech defenseman Ronald Knot, who played for Neftekhimik in the 2021/2022 KHL season, shared his opinion on his compatriot and former teammate Lukas Kloka. In the spring of 2022, both hockey players left Russia, and in July 2023, Klok returned to the KHL. Knot also commented on the Czech players remaining in the league.

“Is the option with the KHL closed to me? Of course. Five Czech hockey players play in Russian competitions, including Lukas Klok, my friend and former teammate from Nizhnekamsk and Tucson? This irritates me. I have a firm belief that I don’t want anything to do with it. At the same time, Lukash is my friend, I’ve known him for a long time and he’s a good guy. That’s in me. I love Lukash and I know he’s a good guy. On the other hand, I don’t like him to go in this direction. But it’s his business and I respect his decision,” Knot said according to Sport.cz .
