He also played in the 2001 NHL All-Star Game and won a bronze medal at the 2002 Olympics. He was selected by Boston in the first round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft and played for the club from 1997 to 2006.

From this list, an independent commission will select 20 players (12 forwards, 6 defensemen, 2 goaltenders) who will form the Boston Bruins all-time team.
