Falcon became the first finalist Ukrainian Hockey Cup. In the decisive match of Group A, the Kiev team defeated Trident – 9:1.
This is Sokol’s second victory in the group stage. Earlier, the Kiev team beat Kherson Dnepr (4:3) in shootouts.
Debutant Trizub finished the Ukrainian Cup without victories. In the previous match, the capital team lost to Dnepr (2:4).
Sokol will play in the final of the Ukrainian Cup for the third time in history. The club previously won the tournament in 2007 and 2022.
