Former striker SKA Yevgeny Artiukhin believes that it is too early to draw conclusions about the prospects of the St. Petersburg team after an unsuccessful start to the season.
SKA suffered three defeats in five matches at the start of the season and ranks 10th in the KHL Western Conference.
— Today, many leaders are collapsing, CSKA also started the season badly. The outsiders, from whom no one expected anything, on the contrary got off to a good start. There is nothing wrong with SKA’s defeats. Their schedule at the start was difficult: four away games. The home match against Spartak was marked by emotion and nervousness. Some have recovered from injury, while others are just starting the season under load. Well, the team composition has been significantly updated. The guys need time to play and get used to the demands of the new coaches.
— Is it too early to panic around the SKA?
– Yes of course. Conclusions must be drawn as December approaches – there is no point now. The army team has a photo of the match, I saw it. At some times there is not enough luck,” Artyukhin told RB Sport.
In these moments, the meeting between SKA and Dynamo Moscow continues. Watch the live broadcast on the channel, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
