Czech hockey player Jaromir Jagr said he is ready for the start of the new season of the Czech championship.
The 51-year-old hockey player plays for the Kladno team, the Czech has owned the club since 2011. On Sunday, Kladno will meet Pardubice at home as part of the Czech championship in the 2023/24 season.
— Another season has begun. I read that I first played for Kladno in the Czech championship 35 years ago. A lot of time has passed, but the excitement before the match is still there. “I am looking forward to the match and the pre-match program with my participation,” Jagr wrote on the social network.
As a member of the Czech national team, Jagr became Olympic champion of the 1998 Nagano Games and two-time world champion (2005, 2010).
With the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL), the Czech won the Stanley Cup twice (1991, 1992).
