Athletistic/Hockey. On September 17, news broke of the death of the legendary Soviet and Russian songwriter Nikolai Dobronravov. He was 94 years old.
Popular singer Nikolai Baskov announced on his Telegram channel about the death of composer Alexandra Pakhmutova’s husband after a long illness. In 2020, Dobronravov and his wife suffered from coronavirus, after which they practically stopped appearing in public.
It should be noted that among the most famous compositions of the poet are song essays on a sports theme: “A coward does not play hockey” and “The team of our youth”.
Nikolai Dobronravov is a laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize in 1978, as well as a laureate of the USSR State Prize in 1982 in the fields of literature, art and architecture. In 2008 he received the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.
