Rangers general manager unhappy with Panarin’s playoff performance – media

General director “New York Rangers » Chris Drury unhappy with the game of the Russian striker Artemi Panarin in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, according to The Athletic.

The Rangers lost 2-4 to Tampa in the Eastern Conference Finals.

“The source said Drury was not happy with Panarin’s play in the playoffs as he expected the Russian to show more stable play,” journalist Arthur Staple was quoted as saying by The Athletic.

In the 2021/22 season, Panarin played 75 regular season games in the NHL, scored 96 points (22+74), had 16 points for his performance in 20 playoff games (6+10).
