Russian attacker Artem Anissimov signed a trial contract with the club “Detroit Red Wings “of the National Hockey League (NHL), reports the CapFriendly portal.
The deal with the 35-year-old striker is designed for the duration of the training camp, after which a full contract can be signed with the Russian.
Last season, Anisimov played for the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he scored 19 goals and provided 17 assists in 55 games.
Previously in the NHL, Anisimov played for the New York Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators. As a member of the Russian national team, he won the 2014 World Championships in Minsk.
