An American journalist was outraged by Mogilny’s non-inclusion in the NHL Hall of Fame

American ESPN journalist Greg Vyshinsky is outraged that there are no Russians in the list of players who will enter the NHL Hockey Hall of Fame in 2022 Alexander Mogilny .

In 2022, brothers Daniel and Hanrik Sedina, forwards Daniel Alfredsson and Herb Carnegie, goaltender Roberto Luongo and a wife, Rikka Sallinen, were on the NHL Hall of Fame list.

– Two injustices to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Mogilny’s absence has reached the level of absurdity of Pat Burns. Especially considering the attackers chosen this season. And since 2010, we’ve only included two women in the room once at a time, which is an absolute mockery,” Vyshinsky wrote on his Twitter.

Burns is a Canadian coach, he was named the NHL’s best coach three times and also won the Stanley Cup with the New Jersey Devils. In 2014, Burns was posthumously inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame.

The list of candidates included 15 people, including Mogilny, Sergei Gonchar and Boris Mikhailov. Mogilny is the 2000 Stanley Cup winner with New Jersey.
