Head coach of the club NHL Carolina Hurricanes Rod Bridamor spoke about the progress of the Russian attacker’s recovery Andrei Svechnikov after an injury.
In March, the 23-year-old Russian was injured during an NHL regular season game against the Vegas Golden Knights. After that, the Russian was diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee joint and required surgery.
“It depends more on him, our medical and training staff. When he feels 100% and gets the green light then he will be in the game, but until then we will assess his condition day by day. He is already training, which is a good sign,” quotes ESPN Brindammore.
Svechnikov has been playing for Carolina since 2018. In total, he has played 347 matches for the club and scored 264 (112+152) points.
