Moscow CSKA beat Yaroslavl on the road “Locomotive” in the Fonbet KHL championship match.
Saturday’s match in Yaroslavl ended with a score of 2:1 (1:1, 1:0, 0:0). The goals for the “red-blues” were scored by Pavel Karnaukhov (3rd minute) and Maxim Sorkin (39th minute). Artur Kayumov scored for Lokomotiv (8).
CSKA scored 9 points and rose to seventh place in the Western Conference. Lokomotiv broke the four-game winning streak and is in fifth place in the west (12 points).
In the next match, Lokomotiv will host Metallurg on September 25. CSKA will play at home with Severstal a day later.
