Vegas Golden Knights was defeated by San Jose Sharks during a pre-season match National Hockey League (NHL).
The meeting took place in San Jose and ended with a score of 5:2 in favor of the hosts. Henry Tran scored twice for the winners, while Tomas Hertl, Nathan Todd and Kyle Burrows each scored a puck. Russian striker Alexander Barabanov had an assist. The Russians scored for Vegas Ivan Barbachev and Brett Howden, Pavel Dorofeev scored an assist.
The new NHL season begins on October 10. Vegas will face the Seattle Kraken in its first away game, and two days later, San Jose will host the Golden Knights.
