Athletistic / Hockey. Goalkeeper of the Slovak national team Julius Hudacek spoke about his attitude towards the game in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) against the backdrop of SVO in Ukraine.

“Do I see comments critical of Slovak hockey players playing in the KHL? I try not to notice it. I don’t follow what they write and say in the media. Those who currently play in the KHL firmly believe that the situation with the special operation (the wording has been changed in accordance with the requirements of Roskomnadzor) will soon change. However, it’s not about us or what we want. This is decided by completely different people. Before SVO, I lived in Russia and my family and I were happy there.

The situation in Russia has not changed since then. Of course, I’m judging this from the perspective of a KHL player who travels to Russia purely for sports. I understand that ordinary people can suffer.

I’m definitely inclined to come back to the KHL if I get a good offer,” Hudacek said in an interview with Sportweb.

In the KHL, Julius Hudacek managed to play for Sibir, Cherepovets Severstal, Moscow Spartak, Riga Dynamo and Astana Barys.
