Athletistic/Hockey. President of the International Hockey Federation Luc Tardif commented on the possibility of participation of Russian youth teams in tournaments under the auspices of the organization.

“At present, this issue is not discussed within the International Hockey Federation,” Tardif said, as quoted by RIA Novosti Sport.

On September 26, UEFA allowed Russian national teams under the age of 17 to participate in international competitions. This applies to both men’s and women’s teams. However, they are not allowed to compete under the flag of the Russian Federation, nor on the territory of the country.
