Athletistic/Football. On Tuesday September 26, the UEFA executive committee made a new decision regarding Russian footballers. Russian youth teams were allowed to participate in international competitions. That is to say football players under 17 years old. However, this is only possible in a neutral status – without a flag or anthem. Former Czech hockey goalkeeper Dominik Hasek, famous for his criticism of Russia, reacted to UEFA’s decision. He supported UEFA’s decision.
– Accept. I have long supported this decision with certain rules. Children are not responsible for their parents,” Hasek wrote on social media.
Recall that during his playing career Dominik Hasek played for Spartak Moscow.
