Athletistic / Hockey. Finnish journalist Antti Wennström reacted strongly to the announcement of the return of forward Teemu Pulkkinen to the KHL. The striker recently signed a contract with Kunlun Red Star.
Wennström said that most of his compatriots showed no desire for KHL money and went to play in other European leagues and championships. But the journalist accused Pulkkinen of enjoying “taking advantage of state money”. At the same time, Wennström believes that Finnish hockey players could have denounced Teemu’s behavior, but decided to remain silent.
“I am surprised by the fact that almost nothing is said on this issue in emotional sport. You are not forbidden to judge actions, good brothers and sisters. Perhaps you cover your ears with rubles from the KHL bowl, Teemu,” Wennström said. quoted by Jatkoaika.
Teemu Pulkkinen has been playing in the KHL since 2018. Previously, the Finn played for Dynamo Minsk, Dynamo Moscow, Yaroslavl Lokomotiv and Chelyabinsk Traktor.
