Ufa “Salavat Yulaev “signed a contract with Canadian defenseman Nicholas Melosh, according to the hockey club’s website.
The deal with the 26-year-old is for one year.
Last season, Melosh played 69 games in the AHL with the Calgary Wranglers and scored 21 points (4 goals, 17 assists). The Canadian played 51 games in the NHL, during which he collected 8 (2+6) points.
Salavat Yulaev, after 12 games with 12 points, occupies eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
