Athletistic/Hockey. Denver hosted the Colorado Avalanche’s 2022 Stanley Cup championship parade, where Russian forward Valery Nichushkin was met with a mixed reaction.

When the host called out Nichushkin’s name and Valery took to the podium, some of the fans at the parade greeted the hockey player with a roar of disapproval. Thereafter, the applause drowned out this noise.

During the 2021/2022 NHL regular season, Valery Nichushkin played 62 games in which he scored 25 goals and provided 27 assists. In the playoffs, Valery participated in 20 games, during which he scored 9 goals and 6 assists.
