Athletistic/Hockey. Amur defender Cameron Lee, born in Canada, received Russian citizenship, as announced by the governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev on his Telegram channel. In July 2023, the Canadian himself expressed his intention to obtain Russian citizenship in the near future.

Degtyarev wrote: “I congratulate Cam on this important event in his life. I am glad that our country and our region welcomed another talented specialist and, above all, a compatriot.”

The previous season, the 26-year-old defenseman played in the Kontinental Hockey League for the first time. In 53 matches, he scored seven goals and made 13 assists, scoring a total of 20 points. Before joining the Khabarovsk club, Lee played in the NCAA and AHL. In 92 games in the American Hockey League, he scored 34 points (3 goals, 31 assists).
