The people of Kiev came out on top in the table
Falcon beat Kremenchuk after a shootout in a regular season match Ukrainian hockey championship – 3:2.
The Kiev team opened the scoring in the second minute, Ruslan Romashchenko scored. Kremenchuk responded with goals from Bogdan Serednitsky and Vitaly Lyalka in the first period. At the same time, Dmitry Sumets’ team scored the first goal in the minority.
Sokol managed to get even in the third period, Denis Borodai converted the majority. The winner was determined in a shootout. Romashchenko converted his shot and brought victory to the reigning champions.
Sokol scored five points and took first place in the table. Kremenchuk is in third place with four points.
In the next match Sokol will play against Trizub on October 7. Kremenchuk will meet with Dnepr on October 8.
