The Phoenix team, which included hockey players like Sergei Tolchinsky , Nikolai Goldobin , Alexander Nikishin and Vladislav Kamenev became the winner of the 3-on-3 tournament under the auspices of the KHL, which was held in Mytishchi near Moscow.
In the final, Phoenix defeated Orion (Ansel Galimov, Anton Zlobin, Rafael Batyrshin and others) in a series of shootouts with the score 6:5. Besides Nikishin, Tolchinsky and Goldobin, Andrey Alekseev, Vladimir Bryukvin, Kirill Samsonov, Matvey Guskov and Vadim Pereskokov have played for Phoenix.
The winner of the tournament received a cash prize – 3 million rubles.
Third place was taken by the Perseus team, consisting of young hockey players from Belarus. They beat the Centaurs in the consolation final (4:3).
