Athletistic / Hockey. In Raleigh (North Carolina, USA), on the ice of the PC Arena, on the night of October 7, an NHL preparatory match took place between the local Carolina Hurricanes and the Nashville Predators. The meeting ended with a confident victory of the Hurricanes with a score of 4:1.
The only goal of the guests was scored by Russian striker Yakov Trenin in the 34th minute of the match. Teuvo Teräväinen, Seth Jarvis, Martin Necas and Michael Bunting scored for Carolina. Russian Hurricanes defender Dmitry Orlov scored an assist.
“Carolina” will begin the new NHL season on the night of October 12, when it will host the “Ottawa Senators” on its ice. “Nashville” will open the regular season with a meeting with the “Tampa Bay Lightning” on the night of October 11.
