Severstal won a crushing victory over “Sochi” (10:1) in the Fonbet championship match KHL .
The hosts opened the scoring in the first half, Artur Tyanulin scored with a pass Matveya Michkova . However, Severstal hockey players managed to score eight goals in a row: they scored three times Nikita Korostelev twice – Kirill Pilipenko, again by Ruslan Abrosimov, Vasily Tokranov, Alexander Skorenov, Dmitry Moiseev and Timur Mukhanov.
Two days earlier, the teams also met in Sochi, then the hosts won with a score of 4:3.
The victory allowed Severstal to move into the playoff zone – with 15 points, the Cherepovets team took 8th place, ahead of SKA (14). Sochi suffered its first defeat in four matches, the team is 3rd in the West with 20 points.
