Athletistic/Hockey. On October 8, at the Platinum Arena in Khabarovsk, the next match of the regular KHL championship took place, in which Amur hosted Lada from Togliatti. The match ended with a victory for the hosts with a score of 4:2 (1:0, 0:0, 3:2).
The score was opened at the very end of the second period – Amur defender Yakov Rylov scored in the 16th minute. This meeting was the first for the 38-year-old Russian this season.
In the second half, the teams did not please the fans with their goals. But after the second break, both broke through. In the 46th minute, striker Evgeny Grachev increased the advantage of the Khabarovsk team, and three minutes later Dmitry Shevchenko brought the score to a crushing score. However, goals from Scott Kosmachuk and Nikita Grachev, in 38 seconds, restored the intrigue of the match. But the hosts had the last word – Yegor Korshkov scored Lada’s empty goal a minute before the end of regular time.
After 14 matches, Amur scored 14 points and rose to ninth place in the Eastern Conference. “Lada” scored 20 points in 17 matches and is in fourth place in the East standings.
