National Hockey League (NHL) club “Vegas” fielded a Russian attacker Grigory Denisenko to the proposed waiver, reports insider Chris Johnston on his social media.
On Saturday, Vegas withdrew the Russian from the Florida draft. Last season, Denisenko played in 19 NHL games with Florida and had three assists.
Additionally, Nashville’s Russian forward Denis Guryanov passed the waiver draft, where he was named Saturday. Not a single club took the hockey player.
The new NHL regular season begins October 10.
