Continental Hockey League Commission (KHL ) determined the best players of the fifth week of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
Recognized as the best goalkeeper of the week for the first time in his career Alexei Kolosov of Dynamo Minsk, who won two victories in three matches. In another match, his team won in a shootout. Kolosov received 91 shots on goal (30.3 on average per game), of which he stopped 95.60%. The reliability coefficient was 1.31. In the match against Barys (3:0), Kolosov kept a clean sheet.
The best among defenders was a CSKA player Darren Dietz who scored 4 (2+2) points in three matches of the week.
Recognized as the best striker Nikita Korostelev from Severstal Cherepovets, who scored 6 (5+1) points in three matches of the week.
Metallurg Magnitogorsk striker was chosen as the best newcomer Roman Kantserov who scored 3 (1+2) points in four matches of the week.
