In general, I am not surprised by its success. Igor is a fantastic person and hockey player. Additionally, he is also an excellent motivator and methodologist. The coaching profession will continue to grow as long as people like him continue to work. A person who played smart hockey will play smart hockey for his team.
I recently learned that Larionov has the smallest salary among all KHL coaches. But there are people out there who can’t compete with the teacher, but they get paid way more. But I don’t think Larionov works as a coach because of money,” Guberniev was quoted as saying. “Soviet sport”.
Igor Larionov took over as head of Torpedo in April 2022. After 15 matches of the current KHL season, the Nizhny Novgorod team has scored 23 points and now occupies first place in the Western Conference standings.
