Athletistic/Hockey. Sochi captain Gleb Koryagin spoke about the return of striker Matvey Michkov. The 18-year-old Russian transferred from SKA to the Black Sea club in mid-September.
“Matvey is a very important reinforcement for our team. What makes him stand out? Focus on the goal. Michkov is goal-oriented as much as possible. At any time – no matter in the match or at the training – he always asks for the puck. and wants to be with him.
But he has no star quality at all. Michkov is a great guy, you can always talk to him. And he behaves well,” Koryagin said in “Championship.”
This season in the KHL, Matvey Michkov took part in 12 matches and scored 12 points for his performance – he scored five goals and made seven assists. Last summer, he was selected seventh overall in the NHL draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.
